2013: Year in Review

Simply-Sweets-by-Honeybee-2013-Year-in-ReviewWhat a year 2013 has been! I feel like I’ve grown so much from when I first started decorating cookies and cakes. I think I’ve done some of my best work this year. I thought it would be fun to take a look back at all the fun stuff I worked on in 2013.

Before we look back I would like to take a moment to thank everyone that has taken the time to leave comments on the blog. I appreciate each and every one of you. Your kind words encourage me to keep doing what I love. Without you I wouldn’t strive to get better and better. I hope that you will continue to follow me as I grow as a blogger. I’m sure many of you began following me to keep up with my decorated cookies. I don’t see myself ever giving them up. They will always be a part of this blog. However, as 2014 is about to begin I want to continue to expand. I don’t want to limit myself to just decorated cookies. I want to continue growing my cake & cupcake decorating skills. I also want to share more recipes. I love baking and when I come across recipes that I love I want to share them with you.

I would also like to possibly do some crafting and share some projects with you. I don’t get to craft as often as I’d like to and would love to start getting back into it. With the wonderful invention of Pinterest there is a whole world of projects to try. My husband and I have lived in our home for four years now and it still looks like the boring neutral home that we bought. I would like to start working at making it more of a home with the decor. If I happen to work on something that is blog worthy I may share it you.

Now let’s see all the fun projects that I worked on in 2013.聽My initial thought was to pick out some favorites and post those but when I looked back at all I’ve done it was hard to choose favorites. Here’s the year in review.

    • Thanks Jennifer! It was quite a year for sure. I just got comment reply notification set up. I love WordPress but being in charge of things has been a learning process. I had to figure out how others were sending out emails when my comment was replied too. So now you should see my reply. I replied on another comment you left so I’m not sure if you saw it but I got some good news yesterday. Pepper’s condition has stabilized. The vet says the “cocktail” we have her on is helping & to keep doing what we’re doing. He’ll recheck her in 2-3 months. It’s a relief for sure.

Hope Seraphina is doing well. You left this comment awfully early. Hope you’re getting some sleep
