Happy Cupcake Stamp Watercolor Art

Today is a special day. I had the awesome opportunity to get together with many other cookie artists to surprise Krista of Drawn with Character. Krista is designing stamps for Whimsy Stamps and she just launched her first designs. At the time I purchased mine she had three designs and I got them all. Now she has seven designs available. Today we are flooding social media with projects we made using her stamps as a show of support for her new venture. If you search Facebook and Instagram for #drawnwithcharacter you can see everyone’s projects. You’ll find a mix of decorated cookies and crafts.

I went the crafty route and used her happy cupcake stamp to make a watercolored piece of art.

The stamps come unmounted on cling foam and can be trimmed if you like.

I like to trim unmounted cling stamps to help me see聽a little better where I’m stamping but you can definitely use them as is. I’m not the greatest at trimming but they’ll do.

I love Krista’s designs and really enjoyed using the happy cupcake in my project because sweets are near and dear to my heart.

I’m trying something new on my YouTube channel and adding a crafting video to the sweets mix. Instead of a drawn out post with all the details on how how I made the piece I thought I’d film it. Here it is.
