I’m so excited to share this giveaway for the book 100 Animal Cookies by Lisa Snyder with you today.
Do you know Lisa? You may know her best as The Bearfoot Baker. I’ve been a long-time fan of Lisa’s blog and her work. Especially her animal designs. She has a way of capturing the essence of an animal through their facial expressions. It’s only fitting that her first book is all about animals. And what an amazing book it is!
Just look at these amazing beavers! With Lisa’s instruction you can make them too.
The book is full of great ideas and walks you through how to make each one step by step. Whether you’re a seasoned cookie decorator or just starting out you will find lots of inspiration from this book.
Not only is the book full of amazing photographs but there are also recipes, tips, tricks and different techniques for you to try.
I’m a sucker for owls but I think the lions are my favorites. A simple flower cutter has been transformed into a cheerful and friendly lion. These would be great at a baby shower or birthday party.

What a fun book! I need it. LOL You wonderful enablers… I made my first official royal icing sugar cookies last year for Thanksgiving. I love that you share your ideas and cookie friends, Melissa. Thank You! Picking a favorite animal is tough, my 2 year old grand baby and I discuss animals frequently via toys, puzzles or real life sitings. I’m going to have to go with Farm or Zoo animals.
