Here in Texas summers are blazing hot. The humidity will literally take your breath away. I crave cool drinks all summer long. Smoothies are at the top of my list. Especially a berry banana smoothie.
With a combination of frozen mixed berries, frozen cherries, a banana, greek yogurt and orange juice it is not only refreshing but delicious.
I think you’ll love the sweet but tart flavor of this smoothie.
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup frozen mixed berries*
- 1/4 cup frozen dark sweet cherries (approximately 4-6)
- 1 small banana
- 2 tablespoons greek yogurt
- 3/4 cup orange juice
Instructions
- In a blender combine the mixed berries, cherries, banana, yogurt and orange juice. Blend until smooth.
Notes
*The berry medley I used consists of strawberries, blackberries, blueberries and raspberries.
What’s your favorite way to keep cool during the summer?

Having spent most of my life in the south, I 100% understand the heat and not wanting to cook. My smoothie obsession started about 20 years ago so I love seeing how other people make their smoothies. I pinned! Found you through Wednesday Whatsits and would love for you to link this recipe up on my site for our Yuck Stops Here link party!

Fossil fuels like coal and oil supplied us with the essential resource to make our very own electricity with the use of generators in power plants.
Further, even when solar and wind generation increases at 10% year-over-year for one more 30 years like the growth of China, it still
will not equal the volume of coal that people use. “Windfarms”
or clusters of wind turbines are used everywhere in the world.
