Slice of Life Sundays: 10-20-13

Today is my 2 year blogiversary! I can’t believe I started this blog two years ago. It’s been a great two years and I can’t wait to see what year three has in store. I’m looking forward to not only sharing more cookie tutorials but also sharing more recipes. I want my blog to reflect more of what I’m interested in and not just be about cookies.

In addition to it being my 2 year blogiversary, I recently reached 5,000 fans on Facebook. I’m super excited about that. It makes me so happy that people have interest in what I do and stick around to see what I’ll do next. I truly appreciate everyone that follows me and those that take the time to leave me sweet comments. Thank you so much. I will be planning a giveaway soon. These milestones sort of came around when I wasn’t prepared and I need some time to figure out what I want to give away.

Now let’s talk about one of my favorite things. TV. There are so many great shows but right now I’m totally addicted to American Horror Story Coven. This season rivals season one as the best so far. The storyline is very good and as with any AHS season you are left with your jaw open while watching it. I realize these types of shows may not be everyone’s cup of tea but if you are open minded to trying something different then watch this show.

Also, The Walking Dead premiere broke a record for viewers. It did not disappoint. After show one I’m already left with so many questions. Is there something in the air? Is there something in the soil or the water? What happened to Patrick? Where is the Governor? Only time will tell.

Sweet Talk: Not Your Momma’s Cookie

Yesterday I baked some Halloween cookies for a party I’m attending. If all goes as planned I will have two designs to share with you this week.

I have a can of pumpkin in my pantry that needs to be used so I’m researching what I want to make with it. I always struggle with a case of the lazies on the weekends. After a long work week I find myself wanting to watch TV all day & veg out on the weekends. I’ve always been a spontaneous person and I struggle with schedules. That’s why I don’t think you’ll ever see me blogging X amount of times per week. How many times I post is not as important to me as what I post.

Well that’s all folks. I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend and have a great week.
