Zombie Cookies {Video Tutorial}

Sunday was our friend Josh’s birthday. My husband & his guy friends are pretty obsessed with zombies so my husband found this zombie cookie jar to give him.

Of course since I make cookies I knew that I needed to make matching cookies to go in the jar.

This is the box the jar comes in

You can see how I made these zombie cookies here:
I would like to thank my friend Stephanie from Ellie’s Bites Decorated Cookies for encouraging me to try using paper cut out templates to make the face instead of my Kopykake.

  3. Love these cookies. You are incredibly talented. Anyone would be lucky to get such a treat from you. Can you do a tutorial on plants vs zombies next? hee hee.

  4. I don’t want to eat them. I just want to display them. They are not scary for me. They look lovely though. Thanks for sharing the video tutorial. I will try this.

    I just recently saw your youtube video and thought it was the best zombie cookie I’ve ever seen! It’s awesome! My friend’s birthday is coming up (next week) and he loves everything zombiess too! Haha so I knew I had to find your blog and try to make these! I know you had mentioned some colors you used. (For the details and eyes, etc) I would love it if you could tell me again what color green you use for the face? I don’t remember hearing that one. Thank you! Love your blog!

  6. These are INCREDIBLE! I’d love to attempt them but goodness I know they wouldn’t look anything like yours! Fantastic work as always.

  7. I just wanted to say that these are fantastic! So creative of you!

  8. These cookies are amazing! These are my top MUST TRY item for this month! My son freaked when he saw them. He’s dying to take them to his friends at school. I also shared them on my blog. They are amazing!

  11. As many have previously posted, these would be great for Halloween! The cookies look awesome. I hope your husband’s friend appreciated your hard work. I noticed you’re piping and flooding with bottles instead of bags. What are the bottles you are using?
